Free The Data
Platform as a Service (PaaS)
Free the Data is a fully configured platform designed and built by Two Cents Consultants for nonprofits ready to test the waters of AI. We want you to benefit from the last three years of our learning curve with this collection of integrated apps that we have found to be reliable and impactful.
The vision:
-
End the spiral of remapping between exports and Excel models.
-
Liberate teams from the frustrations of poorly organized documents and constant version conflict.
-
Jump past the abstract concept of AI into a usable, relevant and secure experience of tools you will soon be using every day.
-
Built in SharePoint (because you already pay for it)
Knowing the importance of a "single source of truth" we started simple with portfolio data that is well-structured and centrally located. From there it's been an iterative cycle of testing, using and clarifying a structured learning path with built-in guardrails, signposts, and milestones so progress feels clear and earned.

What do we mean by platform? Think of it like a furnished virtual office. The walls act as governance, giving departments appropriate access roles and instilling confidence in security policies meant to encourage co-creating and collaborating. Each staff person enjoys the benefits of a "modern desktop" with embedded dashboards displaying their assigned portfolio, prioritized tasks for the day, and upcoming deadlines.
Perfect For: Organizations ready to move beyond spreadsheets and towards AI -- but unsure where to start. Teams who want to see the destination before planning the journey.
Special pricing through 12/31/2025 includes prep session,
four-week guided tour with guest access to platform
and "mind map" planning tool.
Partner organizations registering together:
Owner + Property Managment: $2500
Owner + Property Managment + Investor: $3500

The Arc: Data as Keystone

Two Cents has tailored The Arc as the keystone of our platform. Embedded solutions (dashboards, power apps, automations, and webparts) are optimized by the proper configuration of structured data, a centralized knowledge library, user roles and permissions that support a peer network to collaborate on workflows of affordable housing.

Welcome, webinarians!

Deciding how to engage with AI is serious play. You might be noticing how quickly things are changing on the screens and apps you use every day. For instance, even if you did not “choose” to use AI, logging onto Microsoft now opens the Copilot chat screen. This can be disorienting and overwhelming.
At Two Cents we’ve been paying attention to this evolution for three years. We’ve gained an intuitive sense of what’s happening behind the scenes, and we are keeping up with updates and real-time changes to the screens and apps most people use every day.
After this one-hour intro session you’ll feel more prepared to begin using AI tools at your pace. Two Cents has designed a platform to meet the needs of community-based nonprofits and owners of affordable housing. Our workshops, services and products are offered ala carte to help teams align, collaborate and build skills, one step at a time.

Second Opinion
If you’ve already started down the path of implementing AI but aren’t fully confident in your setup or long-term strategy, this one-hour session is designed to help you validate your direction — or course-correct where needed.

Using ChatGPT or Copilot as a guide only gets you so far. The encouragement of a virtual assistant will produce a vision but it won't prompt you for a reality-based timeline and budget that takes into account capacity and organizational constraints.

This session gives you space to step back, pressure-test your plan, and get grounded recommendations for your next steps.

Before we meet, you’ll share whatever materials you’re working with — diagrams, workflows, prompts, or platform maps — and we’ll come prepared with a clear, non-jargon review of where you stand.
We focus on practical, experience-backed insight: what’s working, what might be more complex than necessary, and what needs refinement to move forward efficiently.

We can also advise on how your AI approach interfaces with enterprise platforms like Yardi, RealPage, or other property management systems, helping ensure that your future-state vision is aligned with the day-to-day tools your team already uses.

Use this session to:
✔ Align your AI planning with your enterprise systems
✔ Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or overly complex solutions
✔ Get a trusted, external perspective before major investments
✔ Decide if deeper technical assessment is needed to support your roadmap
Note: Our expertise lies in integrations with Microsoft's ecosystem, and we’ll confirm in advance if your systems fall outside of that scope.
Required Attendees:
President/CEO/ E.D. / Decision Maker
Tech/IT/Contractor Rep
Business Analyst or User
Help Desk
Tech support, Two Cents style.
Whether you're stuck on something specific or just exploring ideas, the Help Desk is your space for open-ended support. Bring your questions, share your screen, or gather a group for live Q&A on anything from prompt design to platform decisions. It’s flexible, collaborative, and shaped around what you need most — even if you’re not sure what that is yet.
Use it for:
-
In-the-moment troubleshooting
-
General Q& A session for a conference, workshop or staff assembly.

For specific troubleshooting support, submit your topic before the session to make sure it's in our wheelhouse.

Window 10 End-of-Life
With Windows 10 reaching end-of-life on October 14, 2025, many small nonprofits and community organizations are uncertain about what that actually means — especially if they’re working with a managed service provider (MSP) or have limited in-house IT support.

This one-hour session is designed to help you get clarity. We’ll walk through the key concerns — especially around security, patching, and compliance risks — and help you identify practical next steps based on your specific setup. Whether you need to push for clearer answers from an MSP, evaluate upgrade paths, or just figure out where you stand, we’ll help you get oriented.
Use it for:
-
Understanding what Windows 10 EOL really means
-
Identifying your risk areas and blind spots
-
Clarifying roles if you're working with an MSP
-
Planning next steps for migration or mitigation
-
Knowing when and how to ask for additional support
-

We also offer follow-up tech support for organizations that need deeper help transitioning, auditing devices, or navigating vendor conversations.

Prompt Mixologist Sessions
Shaken, not stirred.

In this hands-on session, we use Copilot Studio to teach a beginner how to prompt and configure a virtual assistant based on a specified knowledge library.
You'll learn the difference between an assistant and an agent. At this level, your virtual assistant will be adept at answering questions, summarizing documents and surfacing insights from normalized data based on your guidance to perform simple processes.

Our focus is on assistants that deliver immediate value through well-crafted prompts. We'll guide you through structuring system prompts that set reliable behavior, leverage your knowledge base effectively, and iterate quickly from basic responses to production-ready solutions.
You'll learn how to set up guardrails to improve accuracy and set the right scope for an assistant versus an overbuilt solution.

Technical focus: Zero-shot vs few-shot prompting, single-turn optimization, knowledge retrieval patterns, system prompt architecture, and iterative refinement methodologies. Subscription costs and tenant-level settings in 365, Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure and Graph.

The Grail: Building Your Own Agent
Agents don't just respond—they act, make decisions, and complete tasks autonomously.
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll explore how to build task-oriented AI agents using Copilot Studio.
We'll cover what makes an agent different from an assistant such as data connectors, tools, memory, and actionability.
You'll learn how agents maintain conversational context through multi-turn workflows, chain multiple actions together, and integrate with your systems to actually get stuff done.
Through iterative exercises, we'll tackle Azure configuration essentials, key security considerations for agent workflows, common pitfalls to avoid, and practical dos and don'ts from real-world builds. If you're wondering when to use an agent versus an assistant, this is where it all clicks.
Technical focus: Multi-turn context management, tools and action execution, system integrations, architectural decision-making, and workflow orchestration.
You will want your Azure admin or global admin to join for at least one of the two sessions.
Two Sessions
Readiness Assessments + Action Plan
We can help you assess your current capacity, AI readiness, technical debt,
and gaps to determine next steps.
Topics covered: hardware, software, operating system, licensing and subscriptions, capacity monitoring, role assignments, skills building in power platform, training needs, tech support recommendations.
