PILOT OPPORTUNITY

Two Cents Consultants is funded by the Microsoft Founders Hub, established to support startups designing innovative solutions using native resources such as Dataverse, Fabric, Power Platform and AI customization. 


Our platform of smart, scalable tools delivers enterprise-grade technology at accessible price points -- all while receiving premium technical support and 24/7 access to Azure expertise.
 

We're passing this gift along to mission-driven organizations in the form of a pilot program to share our knowledge and experience and to model a future state of relationships rooted in trust and collaboration amongst affordable housing professionals.

Nonprofit owners and managers

of affordable housing are invited.

 

Selected organizations receive:

  • Free Platform Access (One Year): Your organization receives a private portal on our hosted SharePoint platform (Free The Data or The Arc), pre-configured with compliance, governance, and data loss protection policies. A secure, collaborative workspace design like ours is valued at over $30,000

  • Onboarding: First four hours of guided setup to help your team hit the ground running

  • Infrastructure: A central data repository and document library supports the knowledge base needed for Copilot and AI to provide accurate and reliable results.

  • 24/7 Access: Test drive analytics and reporting platforms tailored to your properties, portfolio, operations, and evolving needs

  • Skill building for your IT support: This is a great opportunity for your tech support staff or contractor to enhance their skills in the Azure portal, gain experience with solutions-based best practices, and establish security and privacy governance policies.

  • All Microsoft Licensing Covered: Two Cents covers all Microsoft subscription and licensing fees for the pilot year


Your Investment:

  • $2,500 Upfront: Covers 10 hours of portfolio and data review and process mapping.

  • Staff members allocated to handle the role of championing AI for your team and assure that all portfolio and property data is uploaded to the secure portal 

  • Designated IT staff or contractor to handle B2B configuration and security settings on your end.  We can connect you with Microsoft partners for this role if you need extra coverage.

Pilot Program Requirements

To ensure success in our pilot program, we're looking for organizations that meet the following criteria:

 

Organization Type:

  • Nonprofit affordable housing organization (private non-profit, NDC, CDC, housing authority, community land trust, or mission-driven housing provider)
     

Technical Requirements

  • Microsoft Environment: Active Microsoft 365 tenant

  • Staff currently using Microsoft Teams for communication

  • SharePoint deployed for data storage (at minimum)​
     

Team Readiness

Success requires engagement from key stakeholders across your organization. We need you to identify individuals who fill these essential roles—recognizing that in smaller organizations, one person may wear multiple hats:
 

Data Steward The person who understands your portfolio data, reporting requirements, and compliance needs. They know where information lives (or should live) and can articulate what your team needs to track and report.


Staff User(s) selected to be "first-in" to use the platform: property managers, asset managers, compliance officers, or administrative team members who manage documents, data entry, and reporting workflows.


IT/Tech Support to coordinate with Two Cents on user and guest access permissions for a secure and collaborative B2B connection. 


Decision Maker such as an executive director, VP of operations, or senior leader with authority to approve processes, allocate resources, and champion platform adoption across the organization.


Project Manager Someone who can coordinate meetings, track implementation milestones, ensure team participation in onboarding sessions, and maintain momentum during setup and beyond.

Identifying these players upfront ensures we have the right people at the table during onboarding sessions. This team will work with Two Cents to get acclimated to the platform navigation, establish workflows, migrate existing data, and most importantly—build the internal engagement within your team to ensure your staff embraces and maximizes the platform's capabilities.
 

We're not just setting up technology; we're building a collaborative foundation for your organization. That requires champions at every level who are committed to making this work, attending scheduled setup meetings, and driving adoption across your team.
